I've got a 2014 Tuono 1000 V4 and to see it's successors evolving into a more perfect product year by year is just awesome!
Just the perfect bike for fast road riding and a couple of track days a year 👌

Great review! I have a question to which I am not able to find answer though... In earlier versions in stock version the ecu was "standard" and you would get a code to upgrade it to race ecu when getting akra's or you would need to get race ecu when getting different exhaust.

Is it the same or no for the new one? Is there any ecu updating needed anymore or is stock one everything there is?

If the MT10 is a turbo tripple as rumoured. This new Aprilia (the stock one) will be my next bike after MT09.

Always loved the Tuono and this one looks even better. My only wish is if they didn't use a tubular bar and had risers like the 660.

2021 V4 Tuono Factory vs 2020/2019 V4 Tuono Factory ? Absolutely love the look of this 2021 V4 Factory; deposit placed before I even managed a test ride. Very interested in other previous model Tuono owners opinion of the 2021 version ? After my 2021 test ride; my immediate thoughts were, looks to me like the best super naked in the world, better bike overall, improved dashboard, definitely smoother at the lower gears, thanks to amazing fuelling, I couldn't tell any difference in the power delivery or handling. BUT when I got back on my 2019 V4 Factory, I couldn't help wondering.... has some of the character just been squeezed out with the new bike (& regulations) ? The roar on mine (ok, it's got the Akra and too early for the 2021 bike to have an Akra option), the sense of urgency at any gear, felt like it's a hard decision to leave the old bike for the 2021 just yet!! Has anyone tried both 2021 and previous bike and got any views pls ??

Price difference? The majority of "active" suspended bikes, according to the reviews over the last 2+ years aren't consistent on track lap to lap vs normal suspension so why would you choose it for that reason AND the difference in price? Why not just split the difference w/better fork internals and rear shock if everything else is the same?

Hello Adam, Which super naked is the most agile, has the best handling in S-corners, for the fast changing angle to angle, Tuono V4 Factory or 1290 SuperDuke please ? And how big is the difference ?

Does anyone know the seat unit is the same between regular and factory? Would I be able to swap out the big pillion seat with a factory race style rear cowl? That would be cool if this were the case. You could really make this bike modular. Looks like it would be easy to have your sports tourer version, then swap out the bar risers, windshield, and rear seat cowl, and have the track slaying version.
