This video features a 60th Anniversary ’59 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop played through the incredible on-board Mesa Cab Clone IR, running an Ownhammer 412 Traditional V30 cabinet IR, directly into Avid Pro Tools. The revoiced Badlander brings all the sounds you’d expect from the Mesa rectifier series, with added mid-range depth, for a truly powerful sound that’s capable of delivering a versatile array of tones from classic blues inspired rock to face melting modern metal.

Alex has been playing Mesa / Boogie amps since an infamous Vancouver area rock star suggested he start rocking a Mesa Dual Rectifier to land more gigs! “I’ve been a huge fan of Mesa amps and have toured extensively with both a Mesa Royal Atlantic 100 and a Dual Rectifier, but this Badlander really is an incredible amp that takes the rectifier series to a new level. That amp sounded so good with clean single coils. I was surprised. Thought it was just designed for a tight high gain without add TS type pedal.
