St James's Park is located in central London, a short stroll from Westminster Abbey. It is one of the eight Royal Parks in London.

Once a private hunting ground for the royal family, St James's Park is now open to the public. The park covers around 24 hectares and is open daily from 5am until midnight.

The sprawling grounds provide ample grass, trees and pathways. St James's Park also features a lake; on here are two small islands inhabited by various waterfowl. Stalls and a large permanent café provide refreshment to visitors of St James's Park.

The Mall runs along the northern end of St James's Park, which connects nearby Buckingham Palace and Admiralty Arch. Also inside the park is Horse Guards Parade, where various military ceremonies are hosted through the year.
