here's my rigid tour review of all the tools that I have. impact driver, circular saw, sawzall, oscillating. multi-purpose tool, Palm router, compressor, pneumatic tools, air nailer, battery powered air nailer, and more!
these are my thoughts about rigid as a company and compared to some of the other major tool lines. this video should display why I went with them and continued to support them!
let me know down in the comments if you agree, disagree, or just want to say hi :)

HD has some hard to beat combo deals especially during the Christmas season. It is difficult to make the switch once you have so much from another brand… for me it has been Makita. That Rigid table is identical to a Skil table saw I had, same problem I had and we eventually gave it away as it was too much of a pain to deal with. I have my eyes on the Dewault table saw now. If I had to start over Rigid would make a good value proposition for sure. I haven’t seen the tool selection but as long as the basics are there then that is what matters.

I buy the best tool from each brand that suits my use case

That said, I’m a Ridgid fan

I really like their 7" wet saw, haven't tried their table saw.

Also, Ridgid made a quieter hydrolic impact than the surge. Gotta search for it

Why did the octane battery burn up your tool

I own a lot of Ridgid and there LSA program is legit. I had the first Gen 18v hybrid fan fail they replaced it with the Gen 2 and two older batteries failed and they sent me two of the new style. Yes, they need to make more tools, I’m about get some Ryobi just for the oddball use items.

I use many power tools once every 4 months so i got Hercules for the price and for the impact i use once a week i got Milwaukee for the surge. So imo for those who arnt professional i suggest 2 brands one for the price and one for the good tools for when you need it or if the cheaper one dosnt have that tool.

Hey! I’m a handy guy do a lot of my own home Reno’s building a cabin and also have big garage to Reno. I have a brushed dewalt set for passed ten years getting very rough not working all my battery’s have burned out drill burned up. I’m debating switching to ridgid tool set going into the 9 peace set

I like warranty and also that most tools are half the price of other but seem to be good units
What’s your thoughts on

Correction, original impact driver still works, it's just too ugly imo
