Here's another tip for placing Rainmaker shots: try lobbing them. At least in Soloque you'd be surprised how often you can catch people off guard by lobbing over corners or just firing high enough that you have time to fire a second one that detonates at the same time. It's super fun to pull off.

(This is a tip I heard form DUDE back in S2, and I still use it constantly. It's part of why Rainmaker is my favorite mode)

It also helps when poking for people sharking behind walls like on the ramp in inkblot

Another tip idk if it's actually useful but when people get too close, I'll sometimes aim at my feet, I've splatted a surprisingly amount of people that way.

For ink vac mains taking shots on the wall is super advantageous especially at high charge, because it reaches out from the wall unexpectedly far and I often get kills like this naturally.
