Every other language has a much better name for rainmaker haha (not that rainmaker is all that bad). German has operation goldfish, French has Mission Bazookarpe (best name for rainmaker IMO), etc…

In all seriousness, great video! Love the intro and outro animation! To be honest I’ve never been all that great at rainmaker, it’s always so fast paced and I feel like I can hardly keep up. This video was super helpful and informative! Keep up the great work :)

This whole rebrand already looks amazing! The new transitions, but also the vibe, feeling more like an actual school now, instead of just tutorial videos like earlier.
I really hope this will work out for you, especially with Splatoon 3 right around the corner. Still sad that Bravous had to close up, but you're making the best with what you've built here, re-opening with a banger video.

The Squee-G sucking up the intro ink is pretty clever. Aside from that, if this channel never existed I probably wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today in terms of Splatoon gameplay.

Listening to this video made me win 3 matches in a row. Really nice guide. I would add that you can throw bombs at it for a fast explosion to splat your enemies; I have had my splashdown cancelled so many times with bombs against the rainmaker barrier lol XD (I should consider not be so trigger happy with my splashdowns lol XD).

Also, the video transition and the intro animation looks so cool. Awesome video, I hope to see more guides and that your channel grows. You deserve it.

Amazing video! I'm loving the rebrand and this video helped me so much. It really is a testament to how badly the game fails at explaining these things to you that I'm in S rank and didn't know a few of these things. I'm really excited to play Splatoon keeping these tips in mind!

I wish they brought back the og hurricane making Rainmaker. It would be more interesting and cause more people to grab it. It would also force more team oriented plays as the one hit kill that has isn’t slow. Here you can get direct hits or hit them with the explosion but the fact that it only kills with the delayed explosion means people can just run up to you and splat you. You are a total liability and if your team pushes and lets someone get behind any of them you are likely to die and start the cycle over again. With the og you’d need complete flanking or great mobility. The squid roll would be very useful as it can only paint straight lines so you’d have plenty of room to do it and mess up their shots.

Another thing I would add, that I don't think was mentioned is that sprinklers can be really useful for popping the rainmaker quickly or stalling enemies from popping the bubble

Yoo I didnt even know the rainmaker blows up after no one's picked it up, nearly 1 year of playing this game and I still get valuable info out of this channel

Like suction bombs, splat walls are also great for stalling out enemy pushes on maps with narrow passages.

I'd really like some more mode overviews like this. I love the Map/Mode of the Day series, but this format is a lot more beginner-friendly and generally useful, imo. The Map/Mode series's advice is more specific which is great (I've been watching them consistently and they've really helped me), but they're only useful if that stage happens to be in rotation. I also like these more bite-sized options of general advice for every stage.
