You really need to go in order man. You shouldn’t be showing us how to get the mods if you haven’t even explained that Java is needed. I had to delete the mod for it to download cause my computer is trying to do both things at once

so question, why do it this way and not just use curseforge app? Also do i need Java installed to use curseforge? it's my first time modding and I've been looking at videos trying to understand anything and everything.

it really works better than on tlaunchre, you can do the same with the shader resorce pack and the rest, or it works on the other versions as well

it went perfect but when trying to start and had to enable forge before starrting i couldnt find forge

Whenever I download a mod its a zip file but I have already installed java, whenever I press "Open With" it doesnt show java at all? Is it just not installing after its 'already' downloaded??

Just a question, I opened my .minecraft file to find that i didn't have a sub folder titled mods. Do you have any idea why that could be and what i should do about it?
