Some things to look out for when you are getting mods for Minecraft in 2023 is the mod loader version and the Minecraft version. In this video, we show you how to get Forge mods. With that, you need to make sure that the Minecraft mods you are downloading are Forge mods as well.

Additionally, the Minecraft version you are installing the mods for is super important. For example, Minecraft 1.20 mods will not work in Minecraft 1.21. You must be using mods for the version of Minecraft you are playing.

When your mods folder opens, drag and drop the Minecraft PC mods you want to install into it. This is how you add mods to Minecraft 2023.

You aren’t completely finished when you move the mods into your mods folder though. You will still need to restart Minecraft in order to actually activate your mods. Make sure you are playing Minecraft with Forge though. You must play Minecraft with Forge in order to use your mods.

Now, the only reason you would have an issue at this point is that if you have mods installed that aren’t for the correct Minecraft version or mod loader. If this is the case, remove these mods from your mod folder, and you will be able to start playing with the mods you leave in your mods folder.

I can download Java 17 but it won't open and just stays on a loading screen. Once it finishes downloading it shows as bin instead of exe, not sure if that's what the problem is but I have tried to download Java 17 many times now and it just wont open

Username required but says the one used in minecraft is already in use.
