Oh for cryin' out loud... I've owned a number of Kreg jigs for a couple years, and in about 4 minutes, I learned more about them here than I did the entire time I owned them! Dang... I love this channel.

Glad Kreg continue to support WWMM. It's a no brainer. Ive started binge watching old videos and have my K4 on order thanks to videos from before they became a real sponsor. Steve's genuine love and demos of the product sells it well.

Ha! I've had the smaller pocket hole kit from Kreg for many years (and just love it!) and had no idea I could store the bits in the bottom. I am DENSE. Thanks for the tips.

Steve, thanks for all the years of sharing your knowledge of woodworking here on the channel. Ron from NJ.

Another helpful tip that I learned from an old school carpenter years ago is that sometimes even if you drill a pilot hole in hardwoods it will still split sometimes.
An easy fix to that problem is to have a candle or a bar of soap handy to lube the threads of the screw.
I've never split a piece of wood doing that!!
Great video Steve!!

Thank you for making a clickbait title question but then putting the answer to the question in the thumbnail! Fantastic.

Thanks for helping me get started in woodworking! I just made a shooting range target stand! Very simple with a crude result, but it’s the first thing I’ve made from wood and look forward to making more (and of better quality than the shooting stand)!

I had a job interview at Kreg recently in Huxley, IA. It seemed like a really cool place. I even got to see the factory floor where the stuff was made. The interviewer was surprised at how much Kreg stuff I was able to recognize. They make really good products and really seem to have a good atmosphere in their factories. Anyway, thanks for the video. I picked up some cool tips.

I've always loved your approach to woodworking. Keep it simple and where anyone can do it.

You put the answer in the thumbnail. I love that. Wasn't looking for this video or thinking about this topic but I learned something just by seeing the title and thumbnail.

Great info and from the comments Kreg might improve their package instructions to include more about the hidden features. I just discovered a hidden compartment on a used sewing machine I purchased and was happier than a pig in a puddle on a hot summer day. Great info about the reasoning for different screws in pine vs. hardwoods, too. Thank you, Steve. Kreg should hire you to do tv commercials during this winter holiday time since you already have a bazillion international fans online.

I took an entire semester of wood working in 7th grade, got a back scratcher out of that.

I have learned more from your videos then that entire semester way back when in middles school.

I just have the little two-hole clamp-on jig from them. It works really well but is kind of a pain to hold in position while I hold the workpiece and get a clamp on it with only two hands. I'd really like to get one of those bigger ones someday. I enjoy your videos, Steve. Someday I'd like to have the tools and time to learn more advanced joinery, but for now, thanks for making woodworking accessible to us relative newbies!

Thank uou so much for this channel. As a new weekend wood-hacker, your tips & tricks are invaluable!
Real quick, I'm trying to sort this this pocket hole thing out. Another video I watched, said once your peices are glued and set, to remove the pocket hole screws, as they are no longer needed and can be reused. I found this surprising, as it seemed like a lot of work to simply use pocket holes as clamps while the glue sets.
