Tight calves are SO common. Do you run, train often, and/or play sports? Chances are you have felt tight calves.

What if I told you this wasn’t just a tight calf problem but a weight shift problem?When the weight is shifted forward, the toes push hard into the ground to keep the body upright. Stretching won’t fix this problem but the shifting the weight back will.Exercises that shift the weight back and take load off the calves are a great way to loosen up the calves and the back side of the body.

I also put my arms on the wall along side of my body and press against the wall, works for me to help strengthen my legs and lower back. I do it primarily for my back pain.

Can also be excessive vault deformation where the arch drops excessively leading to overuse of the tricep surae complex. Get the feet strong also

I have tight calves that unfortunately affects my driving and sometimes walking. Tried stretching to no success so gonna try this :)

I went to a health club and they thought you had to stretch out your calves after every session. I ended up with planter facetious. Mt with ended up with a torn ham string. "Reckless" indeed.

I do freight at walmart pushing a roll cart all day. Is this why I have calf and back pain? Because I'm leaning forward pushing my cart?

I like how you can actively stretch one muscle when building strength in another. Or are we doing this all the time? When we train the opposing muscle?
