Did you know non-Japaneses version of Mega Man Legends (ロックマンDASH) censor the cutscene where Tron Bonne is trapped by Paprika the dog? In the JP version of Mega Man Legends 1, you are actually able to kick the dog away as an alternate method of rescuing her!

Honestly that's just lazy censorship.
They should have included another way to get the dog to run away that didn't include animal abuse; just scare it or something. Otherwise it's dropping character development.
