You don't need to play violent games in Venezuela, you're living in them.

My teacher had a German exchange student. When he asked her what learning about WW2 was like she said it was very straightforward and to the point.

As a Venezuelan, no.

That was an old law that legit no one follows these days. You could legit be playing COD Mobile in the presidential office and absolutely nothing will happen

"So what are you in for?"

"I played Animal Crossing."

Venezuela: all violent games are banned here
Also Venezuela: why can’t you play violent games when you can in real life?

If I remember this correctly, Germany's laws on Nazi imagery is only prohibited if it's deemed glorifying of the Nazis. Things like documentaries or films that portray that as the horrible people they were are permitted. Most Western game devs usually just remove or censor Nazi content out of fear of having their games removed. (Censored Gaming made a few videos talking about this topic if you wanna check it out)

As a Malaysian, I gotta say, Pokémon Go was banned not only because people play it while driving... It's because most of the players are pedestrians, they got attached to the game and forgot to be aware of their surroundings... Then, they met with a few traffic accidents

As a Venezuelan, the video game ban was created in 2011 and was so insignificant that everyone just plays normally nowadays.

China took the "hate the game not the player" too literally.
