First Microsoft removes alot of games from the 360 marketplace and now this glitch where i cant download certain games because they restart

If anyone has problems downloading games that keeps restarting (ex: going from 79% to 0%), I've searched and tried everything and I can't find a fix. I'm pretty sure this is an issue with Microsofts networks/servers and has nothing to do with your Xbox. They release an update or something that completely destroyed downloading games and they have not yet fixed it or owned up to it. I tried calling and they said that its a "hard drive issue" but it clearly isn't. I've have tried absolutely everything (Different hard drives, different Xbox's, clearing cache, uninstalling updates, etc.) and I can't seem to download certain games. Some games do work but I'm not sure which ones do or don't unfortunately. It sucks really bad but they probably won't fix it because the Xbox 360 is so old now and they're focused on the next generation consoles.

I have seen many comments about their downloads going from 80% to 0% mine keeps restarting the download over and over and over again and I tried all day to download lego star wars: tcs

I had exactly the same problem as everyone else has the download going from 80% down to 0% all the time and finally got it working, delete the game completely from your '' hard drive '' and then you put on '' background downloads '' later go to the shop to find your game start the download, and lastly you turn off your xbox 360 and let the game download overnight, it may not work the first time so try a few times with background download, my worked after the third try, so just repeat this and it may work for you

Can anyone help? It says it can't download my game, I delete the file like in the video, but when I try to download it again, it still says can't download. Does anyone know a fix to this???

Guys take out your hard drive or usb and put it back into the xbox this guarantee should work! :)

So when doing the background download do you just hold down the button then press turn off console

I see everyone commenting that their 360 games won't download past 80% without restarting and the same thing has been happening to me over the past few days. I spoke to someone on Xbox support and they said my hard drive must be corrupted which is bullshit and shows they are not aware of this issue.


One thing I noticed is that while certain 360 games I've tried to download won't get past 80% (Far Cry, Hitman, Assasins Creed, Halo 4), I have gotten many Original Xbox games (Star Wars Battlefront 1& 2, KOTR, Republic Commando, Halo 1&2, Conker) to download in full with no problems. I recommend everyone try to download a Original Xbox game if they have any to see if it works.


There must be some sort of Xbox Live issue with certain 360 games if everyone experiencing the same issue. It may have something to do with the recent Xbox Live service issue on Xbox One that have happened over the past week. Hopefully they will notice and fix this issue but that seems doubtful knowing Microsoft.

Question: Why is my 360 console say there is damaged downloadable content when I haven't downloaded a single thing?

I've been having this problem where it tells me there is an update for a game so I'm like ok and it goes through the motions of downloading it and seems fine but will go look in storage and there is no update there for the game. then wants me to download the update again next time, the games play fine so guess it's ok, have other games that have their updates shown up so not sure why it's doing it now

Hey, everytime I Dowload a Game it downloads to 100 then restarts and when I check my storage it says the Games Name and INCOMPLETE, help :(
