Why is there any processing of any kind?? The border is closed, you can’t come in, turn your ass around and go back!! All the money being wasted to “process them, house them, feed them, get translators, wtf?! My gawd🤦🏻‍♀️

Here is how I look at the messaging, remembering I'm a Christian. The border is open, and it's open in any country. The reality is that people are possessive, of their spouses, their dogs, their houses and children, and so there will be consequences. A language barrier doesn't change this truth. What is scary is that this has been a problem since I was in college back in1995 and a car came crashing through the San Diego border killing a bunch of people. It just happened again last week. The problem is the United States is really good at talking but not doing, people always think someone else will step up to the plate.

This administration is worthless. At this point, I hope Trump gets re-elected and ships everybody back who came in illegally. What a joke.

Don't tell Chris, all this. He can't count. 66 hours? He thinks the 4, 000 today is the only illegals that we have.

Although I do not agree with illegal entry, there are too many of our able-bodied citizens who are sitting on government assistance while businesses can not find people who are willing to work for any reasonable wages

Contrary to popular racist belief, we do have enough space for everyone. Every city has many empty good quality buildings downtown that can be refurbished for new tenants. Every city has very long wide sidewalks for additional tents, and porta potties. We also have lots of fine beaches where immigrants can sleep in hammocks, and tarps under palms while enjoying margaritas.

*IF the US government would hand each of these people a temporary work permit (along with their court date papers) so they CAN LEGALLY WORK AND PAY TAXES while waiting for asylum hearings, they wouldn't need or even want public resourc es; these people came here to work, we should let them.* Right now, they are brought in, "processed" for 60 hours and then set out on the street WITH NO WAY TO LEGALLY WORK and support themselves, it is inhumane and utterly ridiculous to treat these people this way. They are human beings who only want to work and have a better life than the hunger (literal starvation where crops were destroyed and there are no jobs) and gang violence they left.
