Congress is responsible for creating the laws in our country. They try to blame Biden, but Republicans had the opportunity to pass the bipartisan immigration bill which would have been a comprehensive immigration bill. The executive branch is the implementation branch, it is not supposed to create the laws, it is supposed to create the rules by which we implement the law created in Congress. By forcing the executive branch, aka the president, to use executive order, they have transferred their job duty and responsibilities into a different branch of government altogether. This is their way of saying we want to blame the executive while getting paid and not doing our job. This is Congress' job. Blame republicans and congress for this failure. An executive order is only a temporary measure and Biden has been asking congress to pass reform. Hold your legislative representatives accountable..
