Dr. Travis N. Rieder is a philosopher and bioethicist at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics in Baltimore, MD. In a world of more than 7 billion people on the brink of catastrophic climate change, the assumption that having a big family is good may be wrong. Rieder will discuss basic models and predictions, the role of human population in climate change, and moral principles in favor of small families.

Hello doctor 😁. Very good book about the same topic. Essential survivalist reading, IMO. Is it my mistake or did you miss a slide? Would love to see the conclusion of the data. Well met!

This is fantastic and powerful. Minutes 34-37 present a strong case for the "WTH is wrong with us?" question. We just debated Population control in class this week. Population control programs can work! And they don't require eugenics to happen!

minute 4o-45 defeats the anti-population control side. 6x bigger carbon footprint for having one child? Wowza.
