These are absolutely terrifying. My daughter used to have them and the first time it happened I absolutely lost my crap. It takes some getting used to but it is not easy seeing your child go through that.

The worst part of this for me was that I thought it was my fault and I blamed myself for it. I tickled her and she curled and hit her face on the coffee table and started crying and then stopped breathing. Absolutely horrifying. I am a grown ass man and I started crying because I thought I killed my baby girl.

I would be terrified as well. I can't even imagine crying that hard.

I think its cruel how parents are treated sometimes. My son luckily never passed out like this but he used to cry extremely and hold his breath for way to long so his skin turned purple. And the midwives have been so casual telling me "yeah, he will probably pass out every now and then. Just so you know. But thats normal. And when hes passed out, he will automatically start breathing again"

I feel that baby.. as he grows older the outer cry gets lighter, that inner cry unfortunately stays heavy. Heavier than the burden of life itself..

My brother had these usually blowing on his face hard or smothering his face for a second would help get him out of it

How do you tell the difference between a seizure and one of these spells? Not all seizures are violent shaking

Just take check iron in blood test, and give the iron maintenance suplemen

My baby did this and we went to the hospital stayed there for 10 days and no one couldn't find what it was

My son had this same issue when he was a baby. I wonder if it had anything to do with the umbilical cord wrapping around his neck at birth.
