I think I get the sketching of light. First you mixed the brown violet with the Japanese uniform X3, then you added the German yellow. I then saw you added just a little more of the brown violet to it in order to de saturate it. Then after the sketch you add a little more of the German yellow in order to add saturation then go over your sketch to brighten it. Hopefully I understood that right
