Phenomenal video! I'll be getting one this week and will use this as my manual to unbox and install. I would have wasted almost $200 paying Best Buy to do it for me if I hadn't seen how easy it is. It's especially nice to hear that image retention is a non-issue since I haven't bought a new flat screen in 11 years.

The code with the letter B is black on the back, the model with the code A is white

You should put it straight on the box.
Stop adding any foam. You can damage the screen.
Put the foam back inside the box for rigidity and then place the TV on top with the screen down.

I just bought this one, myself. I was going to get the Cx, but I do like the game optimizer, new processor, slightly new remote and this tv is 100 nits brighter than the Cx. To me, that’s worth it, seeing as how I am coming from the Sony A1E 2017

I love TVs in white. I have a Samsung in white and think it’s much better than the boring black.

Not really a fan of the white back but I am pretty sure that it will make bias lighting even better. Still happy with my CX and I think I’ll stick with it for years

The stand seems not to elevate the TV very much. Do you think that it can be annoying for putting a soundbar right in the front?

Your reviews of this tv convinced me to buy it. (atleast the version sold in Belgium C16LA i guess the naming is based on the type of powerplug used)
I had the same problem while setting it up, Xbox was detected just fine but my set top box showed up as a dvd player ... I did manage to change that so it now shows up as a decoder.
So far i can recommend it to anyone, that picture quality is realy good even when upscaling hd content.

Just ordered this today, was debating this or the G1, for the £600 price difference I don’t think the brighter picture was really enough of a reason.

1. Has the issues with VRR flicker and Gamma/Raised Blacks been fixed?
2. Does this have the full 48gbps of HDMI 2.1?
3. Does this TV suffer from Black Crush like it predecessors?
4. Is there any significant difference in picture quality from the CX?
