Hey this is Dan from Fisher Honda here to give you a quick look and a comparison of the 7th and 8th generation of the iconic, Honda Accord Sedan.

The first thing you'll notice is the visual difference between these two cars. The 7th generation has the iconic look of the Accord, but the 8th generation takes a step toward a more aggressive look with more angular looks and a larger overall body.

The interior features of the 7th generation of the Accord is in no way lacking for interior features. It has dual zone climate control and XM radio as well as a plethora of options to make the cabin experience great. The layout is exactly how you want it to be and the brushed steel accents contribute to the timeless look of the interior, much like the exterior of this Accord.

The interior of the 8th generation Accord feels like they took everything good about the 7th gen and made it great. The cabin has been expanded overall for a more pleasant riding experience. I features a standard amplifier and auxiliary input. The layout of the console has been simplified, giving every feature is own button to streamline the experience. The cabin is also more spacious because all of the increases in the sizer of the car have gone into increasing the size of the cabin. Both feature a 14 cubic ft trunk.

The fact of the matter is that these are both stellar sedans and you really can't go wrong either way. Reliability is the name of the game with ever Honda and the Accord is the prime example. The decision really comes down to if you want the one with a more sophisticated cabin and a more aggressive look or you prefer the simplicity of the 7th generation Accord.

before watching beyond the first 15 seconds, I'm just glad to look at two wonderful cars all clean and shinny in the sunlight. *resume*

A very nice comparison of the 7th and 8th Generation Honda Accord. Thank you...
It's a rare 'comparison review' and i'm glad you thought of making it. - Additional video of comparing "Driving impressions" of both would have been a nice also. Perhaps next time?

For me the 7th gen is better. I wish Honda preduce the 2003-2007 accord again. The 7th gen are really thick cars.

The automatic transmissions in the Seventh Generation V6 is were notoriously awful particularly the first few years. However, the four cylinders seem to be immune from transmission issues. My 2003 4 cylinder went past 240, 000 miles before I sold it with not even a hiccup. Compared to the 8th generation Accords, I find the Seventh Generation much easier to service. The headlights can be changed under the hood, and oil changes and transmission fluid changes can easily be done without even lifting the car off the ground! From looking at other YouTube videos, the 8th generation seems to be more of a headache in terms of basic Servicing.

The 8th gen has a stronger and more robust auto gearbox than the 7th gen, don’t know why the 8th gen gets so much hate?

I don’t know why so many people seem to hate the 8th gen, the 8th gen is the best accord ever made
