NEW Kobalt XTR 24-Volt Max Brushless Cordless Impact Driver (Model #KXID 1424A-03) is is put through full tool testing. The #VeryCoolGang drove various length screws and fasteners in common building materials including wood and steel. Using the milwaukee tools FUEL gen3 impact driver (2853-20) as a comparison tool we also drilled holes in wood and concrete using paddle bits and hole saws. It was a very tough #ToolTest which came down to drilling into concrete with masony bits, but THIS TOOL DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE!

The point is you don’t have to break the bank to achieve similar tasks. The Kobalt, under normal use, would be an effective tool at most, if not all, job sites. I invested in the complete XTR kit and the impact wrench recently and am completely happy. It felt like if I got Milwaukee or similar, it would be to impress others and I don’t care what others think. If I get my job done for less money but at my quality standard, I’m happy. (And customers could care less what brand tools someone uses)

Considering alot of these test are plain torture it really shows tools build quality for Kobalt has come along ways.

I just bought the full set of these Kobalt tools minus the circular saw. I usually use Milwaukee but for the price difference, it's definitely worth it. It has the same warranty as Milwaukee so if you're like me and they never make it the life of the warranty, it makes sense to spend half as much for the same lifespan

Lowe's has a 5 peace Kobalt tool set with a box tool, 2 batteries and a charger for $399.00. I did the math for all tools sold separately without batteries over $800

I was stuck between dewalt and Milwaukee and this channel is what led me to get Milwaukee and I won’t ever regret it, it is a little more expensive but worth every penny the fuel line is worth it.

The fact that the Kobalt in Kyle's hands can hold its own against the Milwaukee in Vince's tells me it's a great tool. It may not top Milwaukee's best, but it puts up a better fight than any others I've seen.
