I can assure you we are not and never were black. We are a Mediterranean race. Moses hid in house of Pharoah. I'm Egyptian and the outrage shown in this specific case is just stupid. She looks as brown an Egyptian as most people I know. Maybe the brightness from the spot lights are too heavy but this is normal. White washing is John Wayne portraying Genghis Khan or Joel Edgerton portraying Ramses.
This is not white washing. All due respect to Black Africans, but Nefertiti wasn't Black, she was Brown.
Now most of you will mention the fact that she's not Arab and that's true. Coptic Egyptians ethnicity wise represent what the ancient Egyptians looked like. Her facial features looks the same as any other Egyptian lady I know

The original bust of Nefertiti is on display at the Neues museum in Berlin and was believed to have been created around 1350 bc by a sculptor named Thutmose, that bust is not of a black woman. She had light coloured skin.
