I like the update on how you equip the car. However, it was a bad move removing Momentum, R-Design and Inscription names. Those were cool in my opinion. I wish they kept these trim levels (and at the same time customizing the dark theme with an Inscription interior). I also wish they kept the wireless charging too (albeit could be because of the chip shortage). Overall, in other areas, nice car to sit in, luxurious to drive, good tech and spacious.

Volvo did a nice job and the XC60 is quite impressive. But, , , I'm a "wagon guy" so I just ordered a Volvo V60 T8. The extended electric range plus the total power output is crazy good. Otherwise it's basically the same car as the XC60. It just boils down to either you're a "wagon person" or an "SUV person". Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, sport, luxury, fast, and yet practical Volvo I believe is head of the class.

No it doesn't drive like an X3/Macan. Maybe it doesn't have the prominence of a GLC. Maybe a little more expensive than a Q5. BUT the way Volvo blends luxury, sport, style, safety, and Swedish quirks can't be discounted. I really think this may be one of the best in the class, especially interior wise.

I just wish Volvo would, at LONG last offer a power-adjustable wheel(unavailable on any Volvo). No it is not a deal breaker, but it would be sweet to have it added so that it would be memory-linked for those that have multiple drivers.

Very informational!! This review was very well done. I'm looking into purchasing a luxury vehicle within the next couple of months, and the more I compare other brands, the more I keep coming back to Volvo. And that says a lot, especially coming from someone who works at a Infiniti/Land Rover dealership. 😂 Love the infotainment system they have on all their models. Looks A LOT better than the tablet that just sorta sticks out from the dash that some other vehicles have, like the Lexus NX250. I do wish they kept the wireless charging for the phones. I'm sure they'll add it back soon enough.

Thanks for the information on the updated gear shift from D to R in a single motion instead of doing the double click 🙏🏻 I didn’t want to buy this car due to the inconvenient double click gear change but now this car is back in my shortlist again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very detailed explanation and review, well done. I have 2022, Polestar model and overall its a good car, but it has some extra flaws that you haven't mentioned. For any reason, Volvo move the switch between ACC and Steering assist to the main screen. Not only it is very dangerous and forces the driver to keep his eyes of the road for a prolonged period of time, it leaves two useless button on left side of the steering wheel! Havent you wonder what do those buttons do?! A very Unsafe move from a company bluffing about safety!

Trading my 2020 T5 Momentum for 2023 B5 Plus Dark …I’m nervous. I do love my 2020. It’s very peppy when I step on it and it’s solid. But the new one is going to be fully loaded …I was missing some features on my 2020 I really wanted.

Nice review. I'm between the B5 Plus Bright on this and the XC40 with the same trim. I plan to test-drive both next summer, but have a feeling the XC40's cargo capacity may be a dealbreaker.

I love the outside style of the 2023 Volvo XC60; but, I love the style and color of the inside of the 🚗 Volvo even more; sooo neat is sooo sweeet.↗😘
