Definitely go with the 997, we’ve had ours since brand new and it’s amazing, also have owned like 3 others in the past and they were all great, they hold their value well too and the engines are very reliable, a simple exhaust mod on the 2nd gen 997 can make it sound better than a GT3

Last year I had the exact same budget as you, I looked at mk5 Supras, gt350’s, hellcats and everything else. Ended up going with a 2013 Nissan GTR. Best car I’ve ever owned. Won’t be under warranty but I was patient and found a low mileage car that wasn’t dogged at all so it’s been running strong all year for me! Turn heads everywhere I go!

For 70k you might even find a c7 z06 which would be a hell of a lot more fun than a c8. But out of the cars you mentioned ONLY, I’d do the AMG GT

Honestly C8, unless you actually have another 30-40k ready for repairs. Not saying any of these cars are particularly unreliable, but if anything goes wrong, you don’t want to be in a completely loss situation.

None of these cars are even under a 100k where I live, in Europe. You should consider yourself lucky.

To be honest, a used bmw m5 would also be a good choice and you do end up saving a lot of money. But repairs and maintenance is expensive
