Never thought I'd see WWE mention XPW.

The story I always heard was when the fight went outside Rodney Mack fought pretty much all of them on his own and beat the hell out of them. it's how he got his job at ECW.

What most people don't know is, the ECW Wrestlers fought the XPW ring crew, not the XPW Wrestlers, in the parking lot. ECW security had the XPW Wrestlers ejected from the building. ECW Wrestlers and XPW Wrestlers never fought.

I watched this live on PPV, this was during the time when Sabu was their XPW world heavy weight champion and it was Sabu's idea to invade ECW....Funny thing is that when ECW folded almost 40% of the ECW roster ended up working for XPW, even Joey Style did commentary for XPW at one point.

I remember seeing this on PPV when I was 16. At the time I had know idea who XPW was. I really couldn't get into their product. They took the death match style of FMW and BJW but it had really un interesting talent.

The story was someone grabbed Francine which is false. The XPW wrestlers were wearing their XPW shirts inside out. During the main event the put their shirts on normally & had signs that was advertising their Pay per view the following weekend. Fights outside the arena was surreal. Almost like rival gangs fighting. Was nuts!

I was at this event! Things got wild, & it only enhanced the crowds rowdiness up to that point. I believe it was the 1st and last time ECW came to LA....

I love the fan with his back to the camera doing the crossed arms (blue shirt) at 1:09. His arms are doing the X, and the he seems to look around with a look on his face of "Oh. We're not all doing this? Nevermind."

(If that is an XPW wrestler, or someone connected with them, don't correct me. I don't care.)

And that look on Tommy Dreamers face at 1:05. Good times.

Xtreme Pro Wrestling was an American independent professional wrestling promotion in Los Angeles owned by Rob Zicari. Zicari appeared on shows as the on-camera owner under the name Rob Black alongside his wife Lizzy Borden. Wikipedia

The question is

Who thought the way you guys booked the WCW/ECW Invasion was a good idea?

Meanwhile in an alternate universe where wwe bought xpw "xpw fought valiantly, but unfortunately ecw ended up getting the better of them"

XPW actually had various Porn Stars however I'm surprised WWE won't mention CZW which is basically ECW's Heroin Addicted son.
