This man is all class. Didn't buck, or change his stance then, and not now, even after finally making his 'closure' with WWE. Respect.

Judging by how he was treated when he finally came to WWE, Sting was 100% correct

Sting didn't come cause he knew he was going to get buried, just like the others, he made the smartest decision. He's WCW, and TNA.

Sounds like Sting was 100% right about Vince. No clue how anyone, even is family, could trust Vince.

Growing up, I was a huge fan of WWE (WWF) and WCW. When all the transitions started happening, I always commended Sting for sticking with the WCW. I felt like He very much, was a pivitol part of the WCW. And I think had he left way earlier in his career, he would not have had the success that he did. Smart move.

I never watched WCW as a kid but Sting was always the most interesting character to me from that promotion, and I always thought it was strange that he never migrated over. Interesting to get his perspective on why it never happened.

The invasion was the biggest missed opportunity in wrestling history, it had all the potential to have been the greatest angle ever, but instead Vince wanted to take the opportunity to just piss all over Ted Turner.

Fans would loved to have seen a competitive WWE v WCW head to head clash but at every chance possible WCW were made to look inferior.

If booked properly they could have had enough storylines and angles to have lasted for 2 years instead it was just Vince trotting his ego after essentially killing off the last remnants of competition.

The interview that JBL is referring to is the one Sting did for his TNA documentary/interview in 2006 (Sting: Return of an Icon). Sting has always been very consistent in his reason(s) for not joining WWE earlier. The full interview version on the network of this is very good we're glad to see Sting be apart of it.

I still can't get over the fact that they had Sting AND Undertaker on the same WM card and we didn't get a match between them

Sting deserved to be WWE Champion n Main Event Wrestlemania. He should've faced the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31.

Sting was a legend and wanted to show everyone that he was the greatest. Imagine if he joined wwe a in 2002 he woulda ended up like the other wcw guys.

Some wrestlers thrive in certain companies, Sting was a WCW product and that environment suited him perfectly.
