I'll NEVER forget being in court jail (behind the courtrooms are a bunch of jail cells). They had cells with big windows, like just plexiglass so they could see what we were doing. Well, the men were down one hall and women down another, but I was in a corner area where the dudes could see into our women's cell. They were ANIMALS and one girl flashed them so they wouldn't STFU day. And i do mean ALL day. I was in there from about 6:30am to 4:30 pm, the last one from my cell to get seen by my public defender. All day the officers kept coming and telling us to stop teasing the men and eventually i was the last left and kept saying I was not even looking at them. They said they'd put me in the COLD COLD cell (it was already freezing) if i didn't sit in the back corner and cover my face with my paperwork 😢 so I did, which was hard with handcuffs on (yes, we were handcuffed and shackled all day long - imagine trying to pull your pants down to pee - and I did, it was a struggle!!!). What jerks to blame me for - Nothing at all. Being a female? - and not the men for hootin and hollering like gorillas all damn day 😒
