I got covid and strep throat at the same time. Let’s just say I want to just check out. This is the worst pain experience of my life. Covid isn’t even bad at all. I can deal with muscle pains fever shit like that but this strep shit is on another level

Ive had my wisdom teeth removed, ive had 3 route canals, ive had major knee surgery twice. Ive gotten second degree burns on my feet. Strep throat is the worst out of all of those.

One time in fifth grade I had it and almost passed out. Because it hurt so much to drink anything so my body was dehydrated. I went to the hospital got fluids in me. When I went back to school my teacher was like why didn’t you come to school...oh I was in the hospital for strep throat... and she’s like it’s not that serious you should have been here you won’t be able to do any of your work and you’ll get detention for not completing... my 10yr old baby self was embarrassed thinking I overreacted..but nooo it hurts sooo baddd. Realized my teacher was just mean to me 🥴

I'm a skateboarder and I've broken many bones I would take multiple broken bones over having strep throat ever again because it was the most painful experience of my entire life

As soon as I got a strep throat, I immediately went to urgent care. My doctor prescribed me with antibiotics and two days later, I'm no longer swallowing a chunk of glass down my throat

K the throat feels like your swallowing razor blades with this but anyone else experience the unbearable aches and pains? That shit actually made me cry.

I started off June 4th with bad back aches, fever, chills, nausea and fatigue. The back pain ended on June 7th but I was still so nauseated and fatigued. I went to urgent care and they said I had a bladder infection. Gave me antibiotics and it only made me feel worse. I started to throw up and couldn't sleep. Then June 11th in the morning I experienced a sore throat so I went back into urgent care and I tested positive for strep. They gave me stronger antibiotics and ever since then I have been in the most unbearable pain in my life. I can't sleep, drink or eat or talk. The pain now is numbing my jaw and causing my ears to hurt. Feels like a necklace of nails wrapped around my neck when I swallow. My lymph nodes got so inflamed I started to cry from the pain and I have a pretty high pain tolerance. My boyfriend took me to the ER and they did blood work and gave me fluids. I walked out feeling better but as soon as I got home and laid down the pain.. and I mean the same exact pain came back and hasn't gotten any better. Strep throat is one of the worst things I have ever experienced in my life. I pray this gets better and for everyone who is experiencing it too.


Update I've been to the ER twice and I had an allergic reaction to Clindamycin and/or I got scarlet Fever. Just a huge rash all over my face, limbs, chest, breasts, bottom, the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands. Feel like a terrible sunburn. I swelled up and now im super itchy. This is the worst pain I've ever had in my life.

I got strep throat the day of my wisdom teeth surgery. I thought my mouth was just dry because you can't eat or drink for 8 hours before the surgery. I woke up from my procedure and I was greeted with no pain at first. However once the painkillers faded off I felt the full force of my surgery and strep throat. I was given Ibuprofen 800mg with Anti Biopics. I am on day 2 and I feel like this pain will never end and I can't even walk or sleep or eat because of the pain... I wish none of this on my worst enemy. This is hell for me.

This was my very first time getting strep.. That day when I woke up with sore throat pain, I immediately started getting worse. Horrible throat pain/body aches. I hope I won't get this again because its brutal. Thankfully on antibiotics now!
