when i was 11, i went to meet chloe, paige, christi, and kelly in oklahoma city. during q&a time, i asked christi, “who was more annoying cathy or melissa?” christi said that cathy was comforting chloe and christi after the whole thing happened at the season 4 nationals and she is not who the show makes her out to be at all :)

I have met cathy in person (I was at Kendalls Movie Premiere and the competition the day after)
Cathy was actually really sweet and super nice! despite the fact that she came in to the premiere to start trouble. However seeing how she really acted, i doubt her starting trouble was her intention but rather the intentions of the producers as always -_-

Edit- also, if you noticed Cathy is one of the very few who wrote something nice to Abby on social media when she was going to jail.
