A striping kit works great too. I bought a kit for the Toro Timemaster (2013 model) from Big League Lawns and it does an amazing job and still works great. Back in 2015 or so the striping kit was 150 and much heavier than the Toro branded striping kit.

ideally a front brush and rear roller or brush is the best of both.

Do you feel the brush is a good attachment. Looking at buying one for my time master. What do you feel the advantages of it are. I have the stripe kit and I think the brush might help the stripes.

this is a pass for me because it is laying/bending the grass down before the grass gets cut.

Wouldn’t it work better to brush the grass after cutting it, not before? Why would you brush it down if the suction of the mower will pull it up again?
