Here in SA, I had Washington Naval and Valencia. I had an enormous supply of fresh oranges that tasted better than 'shop' fruit could ever try to be. Sometimes we even had a second crop. 😊😊

Fukumoto orange is a good variety too. It ripens one month before washington. And fruit can hold to tree for 3 months. It will be sweeter

1 - Washington Navel = ripens early in the season (I'm presuming it ripens by mid-late spring
2 - Magnificent Lane's Late Navel = ripens mid season (presuming in summer "a few months later.")
3 - Valencia Orange = ripens in the late season (presuming late summer/early autumn)

I have a Valencia tree but my favorite is the Pixie tangerine. My Oro Blanco, a cross between a grapefruit and a pommelo is superb.

Try cara cara Valencia oranges they look pink inside not quite as dark as blood orange but the flavor is insane and more nutrient dense fruit and juiceable as heck!

I live in Valencia and work as a fruit picker October to May is the orange season in Valencia followed by summer fruits such as cherries, apricots, peaches, pears, apples, etc.
