My Story...
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens and I am a 16-year-old 4th generation farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was 2 years old. Until recently the wheat we grow has been taller than me. My grandfather is 93 and he is the best mentor ever. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm and I decided that the amazing photos I take at harvest of our wheat and barley could make fabulous, exciting designs for fashion and accessories. That is how Kate's Ag – Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my handbag as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.

For my 2nd video of Kate's Ag, I decided to go to the beginning of your shows. Your parents should be so proud to have a lovely daughter that has such respect for her family heritage. The creation of this farm in 1912 must have been something to see. Clearing the land of rocks etc. Tons of work mostly by hand or animal. Good work on the videos and very clear explanations.. I love your enthusiasm and how proud you are of your heritage and culture I've lived in the cities (Minneapolis and St Paul) for many years but I come from Huntersville PA and my adopted family have homestead and farmed for generations as well and I recently moved back home to help my parents and family with the farm and I missed it so much I forgot how beautiful the country is... love your videos...

Your family had to be one of the greatest ancestors to live. Your family were one of the part of the first settlers of America. They were giving great government grants to grow hey corn wheat and so much more. Your ancestors had done so much for their community their small towns and also for the future. Yes imagine back in the 1900s doing this land by hand. N or by horse and Mules.
Montana USA you cannot get no more than what you can bargain for you live in a beautiful area I know this video is over a year old but I’m just coming across it I love everything that you are set up to be. Especially driving those big rigs girl you got it you just got to continue going forward and absorb everything you got.
