Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Hi zach. I'm in high school and I think I made my decision of what to follow. I've been watching your videos since middle of 2017. Thx to you, you inspired me to pursue something I had little interest in. You taught me a lot about this stuff when I had very little experience before😀. Keep it up Zach love the videos.

you are right. People on red combines don't waste time fixing broken machines and they can afford to feed the pheasants and watch youtube videos of people on green combines struggling. I finished harvest 2 weeks ago. Go deer....heheh

Go to town and buy two of the most expensive snowmobiles they make. It wont snow for the next five years after that. Problem solved.

Hey, Zach, it's Thomas from Zim. I am not a farmer but I have been following your channel now since the 2018 Soy bean harvest. I really enjoy the way you think on your feet and manage the day to operation of your farm. Very motivating and you've actually helped me to focus on certain day to operation

I was raised on a farm in the midwest in the 1950s. I have been watching these videos to find out how farming is done now. To say I'm amazed is an understatement. The sophistication of the mega-machines now is mind-blowing, especially the computer technology so you can know what is going on in the bowels of those machines. Of course, it is necessary to have all of the technology now in order to feed the billions more people there are now on the earth. This includes developing higher-yield grains and produce. Amazing.

Please implement the check ins with Randy "song" every time you have a check in with Randy. Thank you. Hopefully that fuel trailer will become a permanent unit on the farm, that thing is too handy!

EXACTLY here in upstate NY it’s the same thing!!! we get 130-140 inches of snow every winter so it’s time to harvest 30% corn because that’s just the year that we’re having we don’t have any choice

31% moisture is crazy! Here in Ohio we were taking off 120 day corn at 18.5% until we got 2 inches yesterday. Interesting to know how much different things are just a few states away.

In Denmark rain is coming in amounts we have not seen since 1837. Potatoes are swimming and corn is some places impossible to get. We need those belt machines.
