Another tip is to go to a mall and try on lots of things. Grab prints and solids, flowy and stiff, unstructured and highly tailored, short and long, wide and narrow, lots of details and minimal, etc. Also, try on the ugliest dress in every store (trust me, they can surprise you). Take pictures of everything! When you get tired, treat yourself to a nice lunch for all your hard work. The next day (after you've had some distance), scroll through all the pictures. Some of the clothes will look terrible. Some will look great. Most of them will just look meh. Repeat this with a different location four of five times (especially if you can cross seasons). Find the patterns. You'll soon start to find the cuts, fabric weights, lengths, colors, etc. that work best for your body shape (which can help you find your kibbe type). You can then use that information to shop faster and smarter as well as figure out how to make the styles/aesthetics you like work for your particular body type.

I highly recommend looking into kibbe body types for people who are struggling to find what looks good on them! I never knew why certain styles just didn't work for me until I realized my kibbe type. Now it is soo much easier to know if something will look good on me before even trying it on - super good to know for online shoppers like most of us lol ❤

Thanks to motivate to find your own style instead of chasing trandy items. Not only is it more sustainable, its also more unique to every person instead of looking like everyone else

Love this video! Definitely all advice I needed to hear. I have a bunch of clothes in my closet that I never wear but have sentimental value with but it’s also frustrating when I’m picking clothes and only ever pick from the same 10 pieces of clothing. I think I’ll just declutter the things I don’t wear and put aside the things with sentimental value so that I can revisit if I am okay with tossing those out at a later date. This way they are at least out of my closet and I can have bit more of a clearer head space to work with. I loved all your tips about having quality pieces and tips for finding what style works best for you. I’m definitely gonna try those out. Thank you for all the tips. Now I also just need more practice with learning how to style my clothes rather than just wearing shorts and a shirt and calling it a day 😅

It’s all about experimenting give yourself time ♥️ it can be in weekends, it can be in night times, any time you have energy try out different clothes in your closet it can be 1-2 outfits even try it. Thanks Trina For this amazing advice for taking pictures whenever you feel great you will see the pattern of clothings you actually enjoy!!🥹😊

Love all the advice in this video and the tips in the comments section!

My mom was a fashionista and left me all sorts of blouses and tops with materials (silk, satin) I didn't know how to incorporate into my baggy, tomboy style. I'm a mom of 3 (all under 5yo) and turned 40 earlier this year. I've decided I want to look more polished and started decluttering and buying new clothes. I learned how to dress down my mom's clothes to fit my own style (always thought silk/satin/blouse needs to be worn for work or formal event).

Your videos are one of my go to channel! ❤❤

Thank you for helping me on my journey to find my style!!! I feel like my closet is stuck in my younger 20s and need to update to match who I am now in my 30s! I didn’t know where to start or how to transition out of my super crop top era lol. Thanks big sis! ❤️🙏🏼

My personal style really is just wearing black (and other neutrals like white and grey). So it does adapt very well to every occasion or "trend". 🤭

I would say my personal style is a pastel kawaii mixed with classic glam. I have a difficulty finding people with my body type in these styles since these styles are most common in south korea

I wonder if this old money trend is a trend that will end or if it’s something that will remain in the future too. People would dress better if they kept this style, but let’s not forget about other items too
