I’ve seen the movie twice now, and that horn section gives me chills every time! Loved this scene.

Fun fact on this scene, the orchestra there they had to pretend they didn't have a clue what they were doing so Austin as Elvis had to direct what he wanted to hear from the instruments. Hearing this is like hearing Elvis himself those days in 1970 when he came to the VEGAS stage

This scene showed how musically gifted Elvis was. Didnt write or read music, did it all by feel. I thought by bringing the original, his 50's cover and how it became his 70's opener was brilliant. I've played for years, and this is exactly how songs are born/changed. Feel. What any musician wouldn't have given to spend those late 60's and early 70"s with Elvis Presley. His ear, his feel were like no other. Would mean nothing, but he had the vocals to do what ever he wanted. But never to show off. Too humble for that. Also, didn't need to.

I’m literally in love with this scene/rehearsal/song thing so much

I went from seeing Austin Butler doing an Elvis impression from the start of the movie to seeing him completely embodying and becoming Elvis by the end of it

Love how Elvis hypes up each part of the band.

Watching this scene in theater was probably the closest that I would ever get to being in Elvis' concert. Amazing.
Too bad I was born too late.

This and the 68 special were the best scenes in the movie and they're explosive on the big screen - make you realise how great he was.

This was my fav part of the film! Austin in the concho jumpsuit was just Elvis! I hope that young man reaps the rewards that he’s due! He dedicated three years of his life to give us this! His attention to detail was spot on!

This Vegas rehearsal scene/That's All Right mashup was brilliant. "Bring up the bass, Jerry!" "This ain't no nostalgia show; we're gonna do something different." Fantastic.

This sounds really cool how they do this - showing the way Elvis got his influence from the original song, performing it himself, and then revamping the whole song for his Vegas show. Austin does a good job with this on his parts and the concept of how they did this song is kind of genius.

This was one of the coolest scenes in the movie!👍👍 It's amazing how much Austin looks and sounds just like Elvis! This performance proves it!👍👍

I loved all of this but the bit starting at 1:45 with Austin doing the ha ha ha really was like listening to Elvis spurring them all on. This film is really amazing. Everyone involved in making it should be very proud. You all did Elvis justice!

The Buildup To The Drums & The Drums Is Absolutely F**king BRILLIANT!!… My Favourite Part Of The Whole Film! I Love How It Showed The Influence Of Black Gospel On Elvis’s Music.. A Legend Gone Too Soon…

How cool that in the beginning it's Elvis' voice and then it's Austin's voice and then it mixes the two.

Best scene in the movie, closely followed by the Vegas gig in the next scene. As well as the 68 come back show. So much so you forget it's Austin and think it's the real King. Fantastic.
