Hollywood is deaf, dumb and blind if they don't nominate Austin Butler for an Oscar and Tom Hanks for Best Supporting actor. Austin's performance is absolutely stellar, he caught Elvis without making him a cliche ore a joke, and actually portrayed ELVIS like the icon that he continues to be. I saw him on stage and he was electric, exciting and yet humble, no one has EVER portrayed Elvis so genuinely as Austin..

Just give me chills seeing them synchronize in movement and singing. Just completely amazing, facial expressions everything the same. He practiced so hard. Elvis's spirit was in him while making this movie and probably still is! Lots of awards for Austin and the whole staff!

I was so moved by Austin Butler’s performance. I cried so many times during the movie. Such an Oscar worthy performance.
I was 8 years old when Elvis died. I can remember the exact moment when it was announced on the radio. Elvis was such an incredible performer who left this world way too early. He is rejoicing in Heaven now with his sweet baby girl by his side. ❤️❤️❤️

I saw Elvis in person when I was 16 years old. I have seen my fair share of impersonators over the years and that's just what they were...impersonators. Austin Butler personified Elvis. He did a phenomenal job of recreating Elvis.

Austin was absolutely phenomenal, he literally embodies Elvis Presley’s spirit throughout the film. He made this especially look effortless!!! I think Elvis would be as proud as Priscilla & Lisa-Marie Presley are of Austin’s performance. Definitely Oscar worthy 🥰🔥🖤🎶

My biggest fear is that they would play Elvis like a caricature/cartoon because that's what they usually do. But Austin Butler had the respect to study the man behind all the glitz, his performances, his moves, every inflection, it was ABSOLUTELY stunning to me. I went into the theatre skeptical for about 10 minutes and then I was completely blown away by the end of it. A magical unforgettable performance. Made me a fan of Austin Butler for life - what an amazing actor. He deserves all the Oscars for this movie.

The strange thing is I was a teenager in the 70s, and really wasn’t an Elvis fan at all back then, and just couldn’t see his attraction. But now, as a “mature” woman, and having seen the recent fabulous film - I totally get his unique magnetic charisma.

The work Austin did is tremendous, you can see how hard this work is. Not only show up in Elvis' costume and have Elvis' hair, but energy, moves, looks, it's like he lived thru Elvis' life. Great talent!!!
