Kinda funny how Forrest Gump’s earliest memory is giving Elvis a room to rent, now years later Tom Hanks is playing Tom Parker

Honestly, this is the first time I’ve felt that “movie magic” experience in a very long time and it’s just a trailer!

“I’m gonna be 40 soon, and nobodies gonna remember me”. If only he knew how much his music and presence would impact the world still to this day. What a great movie!

It’s crazy how Austin Butler had to replicate his accent and the way he moved and danced from 3 different decades. Just doing anything Elvis did was pure talent. What an amazing job Austin did. Top 5 favorite movie now.

It's crazy that Austin went from a C-list actor in Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, appearing as guest stars and supporting roles and suddenly he just shows up, got the chance to play Elvis and has been getting a ton of positive response. Amazing how far he has become

I’m only 20 years old and didn’t know much about Elvis, but this film completely deepened my perspective about music and was an emotional experience learning about this man. It moved me to tears seeing how much of an impact Elvis had on so many people, even across the world. My respect and appreciation for the past has increased tenfold. I’ve been telling all my same-aged friends to watch it

It's truly impressive how after 45 years Elvis is still getting new fans and how his songs are being listened to by younger generations. Thanks to this amazing movie and Austin's remarkable job in portraying him we are rediscovering and uncovering bits of his life we didn't know about. I, personally, have a whole new perspective and respect for Elvis now. Going to see the movie for the zillionth time!

My Dad seen Elvis in concert (tried to) in 56' when he was 17 and as soon as Elvis started his first song the girls swarmed the stage and they had to get him out of there! My Dad almost got trampled but someone pulled him out of the crowd. My Dad said never in his life had he seen someone with so much charisma..not before or since like that! If my Dad was alive today he would of definitely liked this movie :)

I think Austin Butler is going to make history with this performance, Isn’t easy as an actor to carry the king of rock&roll on his shoulders.

Just watched this on HBO. Absolutely fantastic film. Laughed, cried, and was hugely entertained. Baz & Austin have presented Elvis as the complicated human being and incredible talent we knew he was. I love this movie so much.

The Oscar's have been a joke the last 20 years so its not what it once was, Austin Butler portrayal of Elvis will live forever as he brought Elvis to a whole new generation.

I lived the Elvis era. Over the course of four decades, I have watched many movies, specials, documentaries, etc. about Elvis Presley and his life. However, this film was extraordinary! I cannot recall the last time I was entertained and moved by a film where I already knew the story's beginning, middle, and end. It was a testament to the man's talent, his influence, and his effort to be somebody. It also paid homage to Elvis's determination to be decent man. I kept hearing Alannah Miles' "Black Velvet" in my head throughout the movie. Elvis is an integral part of our American DNA.
