In this video I jump into allergies. I discuss what is happening during an allergic response. We learn about how allergies are an anti-parasitic response gone awry. I touch on the roles of B cells, Basophils and Mast cells in the allergic response. And I also discuss how an allergic response can be life threatening including swelling of the airways and cardiovascular shock.
