Galaxy s24 fe does not take good Photos they are just more white and the Exposure is always too bright.
The S24 fe does have a larger display but to be honest many people love the small form factor of 8a.
Also don't go for Pixel 8 if you want less headache as there are a lot of Green line issues with pixel 8.
Pixel 8a Works just the same and even better when taking videos due to some Processing differences.
Also potraits of pixel 8a are less hard and thus you can pull it off .

You are talking out of your back end. Pixel comes with 7 year updates. Pixels dont slow down after couple of years like Samsungs do

S24 FE is about £600 in the UK. I just got an 8a 256Gb direct from Google for £409. That's quite sizable.

I've been running with mid range Samsung A series phones for a number of years, keep them for a couple of years, bin them and start again. A50, A52 5G then a A34 5G. I have to say their software (OneUI is pretty crap) and innovations haven't exactly blown me away.

I wanted a phone with wireless charging, the 8a proved about the cheapest way to get that. Having clean Android as Google intend it is also a bonus.
