I had both sets of grandparents, as well as my parents and some of their siblings who smoked. When there was a gathering, there was smoking. Not much was said or done to deter me from smoking, so why not? I was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago, and I worry it could progress to something worse. Two of my 3 kids have asthma, and I pray they'll never pick up the habit. Tobacco needs to be outlawed...if it's not grown, people can't use it. Support your friends and loved ones to quit :)

My mom jus died from lung cancer. I'd rather her have lost her voice box than to be 6 feet under. I had a cigarette the other day from stress. Maybe my mom sent this video to me from heaven.

I started smoking when I was barely 15, and I did it on a social level. I quit several times over the next 15 years, cold-turkey every time. I smoked my last cigarette 12 years ago last month. I wish I could convince others to follow in my steps. I sat one day analyzing it...I'm very analytical, and I said to myself "why am I inhaling something into my body that is on fire?" I also felt smoking was also a contributing factor to my infertility.

My dad has been smoking since he was about 20 or so. He's 62 now. He doesn't seem to be in bad shape yet, but he does seem to get angry easily. I'm wondering whether him smoking has to do with that.

you dont have to have a hole in your neck to have physical damage from smoking.
