It sort of worked. I felt really relaxed, and really calm. And I felt a little bit warm and had a little bit of tingling in my hands.

I tried so damn hard to open my eyes during the hypnosis but I just can't. You're the best hypnotist thanks for this cool experience!!

It worked. It felt so relaxing. I felt the tingle so clearly and the heat was so warm that it was sort of nice and relaxing.

Man.. That tingle.. So wierd..

that heat.. its almost like the sun is right towards my neck.... man... but this hypnotizing is one of the most relaxed feeling i felt in my life

now i see... hypnotizing doesnt mean the guy hypnotizing you is controling you.. hes commanding you and you allow it.. but youll still be able to control your body.. its just that your mind will be able to control more your body than it normally

That was weird, i'm not very easily hypnotized, like I've tried it before and it never worked. But that heat you talked about was so intense, and when you said come back into your'e body, I realized I wasn't even aware that i had left it. Damn, amazing video.

Hi Guys. Something really strange happened while under (I successfully participated in the first session -- I have never been able to be hypnotized before !) While being directed to various body sensations didn't work more than 50% of the time for me, what might be classified under the curious column is that I felt a slight tingle under both feet. The only problem with that, is that I've had absolutely no tactile sensation under the soles my feet due to type 2 diabetes for the past 8 years.( don't worry guys, "it's" well under control now) It was a bit of a shock at first but it soon felt sooo good) :-)) Blessings our way.

That felt so weird! I wasn't sure if it would work, but it really did! I totally forgot about everything I was doing and felt super relaxed. It was like I was half asleep half awake. So cool!

I've been doing hypnosis recreationally for a couple years via the kink scene, both in practice (mostly as a subject but sometimes as a top) as well as helping friends teach/lead hypnosis events, and when I stumbled across your channel through an odd progression of videos (Penn & Teller--> Shin Lim --> your magic tutorials-->hypnosis, who'd have thought!), I thought it would be fun to try this video out, and share my impressions/things that stood out, having come from a different school of hypnosis, so to speak.
1) I very much appreciated the safety disclaimers + pre-talk at the beginning of the video. It's important no matter what type of hypnosis is happening. :) In my experience with hypnosis in kink settings, there can sometimes be more pre-talk and negotiations depending on what it is you're doing, your familiarity with your partner, your different risk tolerances and experiences, etc. To see any kind of pre-talk in a more vanilla vid is awesome.
2) The voice/volume is different, which makes sense; I'm used to often hearing things in more quiet tones and in the erotic/recreational hypnosis scene we'll often talk about how it's important to use a different voice when speaking normally/outside of trance vs. when hypnotizing someone, so as to avoid people dropping into trance when it isn't desired. But, it makes sense for stage hypnosis that you'd have to strike a balance between a mellow cadence without too much of a drop in volume, when the aim is to put on a show/engage the audience/keep things high-energy.
3) Pacing and composition. Things felt like they were moving much more quickly than I'm used to, in terms of jumping from one type of suggestion to the next. Again, this makes sense given the context--wanting to keep things exciting/moving/high energy for the audience, and having a whole group of subjects instead of just one so if things don't have full effect on some folks it's nbd. There were a number of deepeners but not a whole lot of fractionation in this video, (again, makes sense), but if at the end of the video you were left with the "I want I want to go even feeling, check out fractionation--it's my fav.
4) Priming. A lot (not all, but a fair amount) of the suggestions were present-tense and not forward-looking or connected to specific triggers, i.e. you notice you are feeling X (as opposed to, "in a moment, I'm going to say X, and when I say X, you're going to feel/experience Y" (for example, clapping hands before introducing the suggestion that the heat would go away, and not clapping again, so it acted more as a pattern interrupt than a trigger). In one sense, it caught me a bit off-guard because I'm used to suggestions being described before they're implemented. But again, on further reflection, it makes sense given the context, as a means to both keep things moving, but also as a potential strategy to minimize the use of triggers and mitigate the risk of undesired post-hypnotic (lingering) suggestions.
5) Watching this through a couple times, I noticed the screen, "If you are seeing this, this will not work. Your eyes should be CLOSED" flag. This wording is so strong, I was curious whether that was intended as a safety suggestion for folks who wanted to watch the video through before trying it "for real", since I never really hear "it won't work unless you do X", because the intent is to help people believe that hypnosis is real and possible (and, while not the easiest, it's totally possible to be hypnotized with your eyes open).
6) For my newbies out there, there were a mix of different types of suggestions in this video, but they were primarily hallucinatory, be them visual (e.g. you're floating on a cloud in a blue sky and you notice the sky turn dark) or kinesthetic (e.g. you feel a tingle in your feet, you're feeling heat on your neck/in your body, etc). There were also some suggestions that were more analytical (you feel 1000x more relaxed, you feel the most relaxed you've ever been). If you walked away with the impression that some of those things didn't work on you, that DOESN'T mean you a) weren't hypnotized/in trance, b) can't be hypnotized, c) are bad at hypnosis and/or d) that you're incapable of experiencing certain hypnotic effects. It just means that those specific suggestions delivered in that specific way at that specific time might not have been as effective for you. When I was in high-school, we had a stage hypnotist come do a show, and I was one of the volunteers--and much to my utter disappointment, I was one of only two people that the suggestions didn't work on (the only other person it didn't work on had fallen asleep), so I went through 10 years of thinking hypnosis was real but I couldn't be hypnotized. Luckily, I was proven otherwise. The world of hypnosis is vast, we all experience it differently, and like any other skill, it can be developed over time. I'm not great a picturing things. I'm super analytical and suggestions re a multiplier on relaxation can cause more anxiety than relaxation (not so much anymore because I'm used to it/choose to interpret the suggestion differently). Additionally, there are many different types of suggestions and triggers that might come more naturally than others. For instance, when given the cloud suggestion, I didn't see a perfectly crisp/clear cloud and easily hold it in my mind's eye, but instead of focusing my attention on the fact that I couldn't see a concrete image, I focused on what that experience/headspace/feelings that description evokes, because I know I'm really good at manipulating my emotional state in trance (which is another thing you can do with hypnosis). In another video, there's a suggestion on keeping hands clasped together. There are many different ways to phrase that suggestion, and the more modalities/angles you throw at it, the better your chances of one of those suggestions sticking. For instance, if imagining super-glue between your hands or a magnet pulling them together doesn't work, you can try other suggestions like, "push your hands together as strong as you can, so strongly that you couldn't pull them apart even if you wanted to" or "see how good it feels to have your hands together, notice all of the different sensations between your fingers, how the heat and connection between them feels so good that you never want to pull them apart", or "the longer you hold your hands together, the deeper you go into trance, the more strongly they're held together", etc.

Anywho, this ended up wwaayyyy longer than anticipated--apologies. Thank you for the great video!

So for the first one, my arms did more but not like really far apart, so I thought I wasn't gonna be able to do this and was a bit bummed. But since they did move I was like "let me try it".
Let me tell you.. it worked. Everything was exactly the way you described it, except it was weird because my whole body started sweating like it was hot but I only felt heat in my hands and neck.

This is the first time anything like this has actually worked, and I've tried A LOT of videos like this. You sir, are amazing. I found you from Chris Ramsay and immediately found an interest in what you do, happy new subscriber here!

My experience:
I tilted my head down to my chest. My legs were crossed. I felt the tingle in my feet, specifically the right one. It was almost as if someone had put a feather inside my feet. I didn’t feel the hot summer warmth, but my back did start getting warm.
