There’s no objective and valid criticism you can make of an artstyle, imo. You can critique biases someone has when designing characters, but the artstyle is a different story. It’s completely subjective and based off the artist’s personal preference, it can’t be “wrong” or “bad.” Any criticism made of it is either unfounded or subjective. I can kind of see some of the points people make, but in the end it’s literally just a matter of preference.
