when i was younger i always had “frizzy” hair and didnt realize it mightve at all been curly. my hair was long and thick then. recently i chopped like the majority of my hair off and recently started embracing my hair. i just wish i had realized earlier and not when theough all that trouble

And the amount of people who don't know this is crazy. I didn't know how to take care of my curly hair till last year so. Whenever i went to salon for haircut or anything else, they would tell me my hair is very frizzy and damaged and cut most of my lengths off. I belived them and hated my hair🤡 and now after I discovered the curly girl method, i have been getting a lot of compliments. I have been getting compliments on my hair the first time in 18 years😭

my hair used to do that, then i slicked it and slicked it sooo sooo mcuh until my hair just became straight and shiny when i brush it no longer frizzes but i wish i knew better then :(
