Razer Phone 2 - Still Worth It in 2020?

My thoughts on whether the Razer Phone 2 is worth it in 2020 and WHAT it is worth in 2020. Lots of different prices out there. Check out some features with me and a little bit of price discussion for the Razer Phone.

niiiice video, genuinely was very interested all the way through, I'm still using the Razer phone 1 Chinese new years edition phone, just bought the new one recently, I found brand new ones on Walmart and had to get one, very excited! great review, lots of info and definitely earned my subscription! keep at it

I just got my second replacement RP2 from Razer . Am feeling quite privileged as the second replacement didn't come as a refurbish/replacement in a brown box, but instead was a brand new sealed RZ2 with all accessories . Have put it up for sale though as I'm now going to get internet and the reason that both the phones i had became faulty in my view , was due to using it as my main source for internet and having it plugged in ( although on the wireless charger ), all of the time, eventually the battery expanded and the back started pelling of . Big shout out to Razer though, as really good customer support for a novice first time Android user .

I'm with you. I've had mine for over a year and still baby it! It's great! My only minor gripe is the holes along the top and bottom, they tend to get dirt and dust stuck inside them causing my speakers on the top to get muffled. Please keep in mind I do my best to keep my phone very clean. If they make a version 3 please don't use this design.

It is now 2021 and well my battery is starting to crap out. Is there any good fixes? I have no idea how I would transfer data, but if I have to I will get a different phone if I can just transfer everything. The battery seems to be charging slowly only, and the wireless is not charging at all.

Great video. I've had the Razer Phone 2 for about a year now. Got it in a $499 ($540 with tax) bundle that came with the wireless charger ($99) and a Razer messenger bag ($50). Although I like it, I do miss the S-pen from my previous 3 Note 7's I was forced to give back to my carrier. Lol I definitely like this phone for gaming though. I play CoD Mobile and use the Xbox Game Streaming app while the phone is attached to a Xbox controller with the PowerA MOGA gaming clip. I think I'll eventually want to get the next Note or Active (if they ever bring that back) as a daily mobile device but this will definitely be my fun little backup. Just hope they continue to support this, at least with security updates. Too bad they aren't making a Razer Phone 3..

The headphone audio output on this, probably the best I have tested on a device. So are the speakers and other specs.

managed to get a new one $200. there is so many underrated phones. even moto z2 force still kills it

I had that phone.
The speakers were excellent but NOT very loud.
They sounded hollow on their default settings.
When you went into the dolby atmos settings to adjust the maual eq they sounded amazing but any adjustment to the bass levels made them sound quieter by at least 25 percent.
The problem was that you had to adjust the bass levels to compensate for the hollow sounding speakers on the phone default settings.
I had the same problem with the Htc M7 and Htc M8.
Asus Rog Phone 2 does not suffer from this problem.

I would daily drive mine but I need them to update to android 10 so I can record internal device audio.

I have to say, for emulation or GeForce now gaming the Razer phone 1 or 2 are some of the greatest phones you could use, because GeForce now does 720p 120fps streaming of 1080 60 at An 16 by 9 aspect ratio so awesome for the 120hz refresh rate and no black bars on the side. And awesome speakers ofcourse.

Yes. Got mines for 299 when it was on see before black Friday. And I bought the razer Junglecat. I also used to have the HTC 8125 and Dell pda and emulated ff7. Such a long way we came from now...

i have razer phone 2, i play games and for daily uses. if you look for performance get it i highly recommended. If you look for camera well better get phone with camere customization... but for me camera good. sorry english not good

OLEDs do suffer from burn in, so this screen is actually pretty decent!

I own a Razer Phone 1 and it's still a great phone!
