Getting to know the Enochian system of magick & getting comfortable with it. From Enochian.org

Here I talk a bit about various methods for getting to know Enochian magick, and I don't mean just on an intellectual level, I mean to really get to know, and to fully immerse yourself within it. The works of Dr. John Dee and Edward Kelly show a much valued and workable system of magick with these various Angels, or Entities (whichever term you prefer). While I do go on about going outdoors to do such work, from the original MS diary manuscripts, we all know that Dee and Kelly did work Enochian indoors in their house, or where they were staying. However, back in their day, the witch trials were fully strong, and if you were found out you could be hung or drowned for working witchcraft (or anything they felt was similar).

Though, there was some talk about, well at least Kelly, getting out into the cemetery to perform various workings during that time, and also of course that famous painting we all see around which shows Dee and Kelly working magick in the graveyard at night ;).

Interesting about the Enochian system being more ungrounding. That seems right intuitively. But I did not know it was because the Enochian entities aren't as well versed in the material world. Makes sense though. Thank you!

When doing enochian work outdoors, in referencing to the calls or even if you are calling for an angel or calling forth one of the entities within the tablets. How would you go about scrying since it will clearly be daytime outside with lots of white, could you still use a mirror? Or would this be more of a closed eye scrying?

I have always found the enochian system to be quite intriguing, but that is a lot of stuff to memorize I can only imagine the amount of years it takes to get it all down pat. Though I'm sure the effort is worth the outcome I'm just not sure if it's something I should just delve into it this current point in time.
