My favourite thing about contemporary dance, is the freedom that I feel while doing it! I've been doing it since I was five, and now I'm twelve!

Contemporary is my fav style for many reasons. One of the is that it is pure freedom from everything, even from myself.

I go to dance classes once a week, but all the other kids are way ahead of me because I am not good at it at all. But I decided to do my best to keep practicing and when I found this, I can already feel myself getting better at dancing! My teacher says I am improving amazingly! Hi, I've just discovered your channel. I'm 37 and never really danced in my life apart from some basic classes when I was a kid. I'm stuck at home in lockdown and thought I'd try something new and exciting, as I've been struggling with depression and anxiety. So, I gave it a try and I'm loving it! I look like a drunken elephant when I try, but it's ok, I'm only doing it for myself. I'm so much better and having fun! This is awesome, so I thought I would thank you here :)
