Total Beginner Contemporary Dance Routine

Calling my complete beginner dancers! I am so excited to bring you this beginner contemporary dance routine for all of my new dancers to follow along and learn at home. This contemporary choreography is full of basic dance moves, perfect for those of you self-taught dancers and dancers who are starting late (even though there is no such thing as starting too late... hehe). Follow along dance classes are a great way to stay in shape, work on dance technique, and expand your artistry.

Hey you, new dancer -- if you're frustrated because this was still hard for you even at 'total beginner', please don't give up! What's easy for some is hard for others. For example, the music in the song she used is really flow-y. It didn't give me a very clear beat to hold on to, so I found it hard to stay with her timing. I got frustrated at first. But I found a different song that I play while Auti is on mute, slowed down the speed, and practice the hard bits until they feel easier for this truly total beginner. We're doing this for fun, so don't pressure yourself too much :). We got this <3

This is my first contemporary dance ever and I LOVE IT! It's sooo simple. Dancers of any skill level and background can do it (little to no flexibility requires). I usually do hip hop so I felt very graceful doing this dance. It's pretty easy to memorize (I memorized it in less than an hour and I have a pretty hard time remembering choreo so this was great).
