Holy shit. No jumpscare, barely any audio, no physical monster, just animation and subtle story telling. Amazing work.

I love that we never fully see the monster, this was legitimately creepy! It's good to see you animating again!

It's simple storytelling like this that's super effective

The "claw" in the doorway for the last few frames... That was a nice touch.

I really appreciate those subtleties in horror. The things that make you wonder, "Was I even supposed to see that?"

As someone who isn't easily scared by horror films but gets annoyed by loud jumpscares, this artist does something amazing. Spares my ears and leaves me with a shiver down my spine.

the way it went back from the parking lot, the stairs and the halls with blood dragged upon the floor is so ominous, imagine walking out of you're apartment room and seeing trails of blood

No jumpscares or loud noises. Just pure art and a medley of horror, creepy, and curiosity. Seriously. I love this.

Rewatching this video and realizing she was already running from something else, plus the fact she got grabbed by an unknown entity mid chase suggests she was chased not by one or two but by *three* things at once.

This is like some sort of nightmare I would have it's genuinely scary.

Since she’s dragged to the door we saw get opened earlier, the spider monster must’ve come from there. That means the poltergeist that grabbed her and messed with the lights may have been following her from the start, but it kinda feels like she just ran into it in the stairwell since only then did it start harassing her. That means whatever she was initially running from might not have been pursuing her at all.

Another thing I get creeped out about is that there are doors, indicating that it's an apartment, and there are cars in the parking lot that look just fine. There are supposed to be people around somewhere, but there's nobody there to help that person somehow.

I love how easy it is to forget that she was already running, which means that she was running from some unseen threat and got the attention of a second one that ultimately caught her.

Don't run in hallways kids, you never know who's attention you will grab.

this guy is a horror icon💀 every single video he has made is an absolute banger the fact you never get to see the monster but from the shadow can tell that it isn’t a human but more of a spider like creature, the fact there is no audio or massive jump scare and the fact the art style is perfect in every video. This dude is incredible

I think it’s fun to theorize-

Maybe there were two creatures working together; or perhaps a poltergeist, the one who opened the door, shut down the lights, tormenting the lady for a few seconds, perhaps helping that creature get its meal without it getting caught out in the open.

Also, I loved the small clawed hand at the end, took a while for me to see the movement.

Its shown to kill her at 0:45 as the blood marks no longer show struggle. That monsters most of been playing with her as its speed was at another level of fast at times, but also kinda slow (when opening the door.

Love the idea of the views from the security cams!! So smart and amazing animation in general!! Such an underrated animator!

Rewatching it makes me feel like some sort of detective trying to find the most logical reason as to how she died. I love these types of horror shorts, it makes you feel so involved with a character despite how the lack of knowledge behind their suffering is so emotionally attaching to you. Makes me feel like I gotta find a reason or Atleast a solution to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again..

Brilliant! Would be nice to have a horror game around this idea lol

My personal theory is this is some sort of invisible, spider like entity that has turned the room at 0:07 into a "nest" of sorts, hence why it dragged her all the way back before presummedly devouring her and that the creature uses the hotel/appartment building as a hunting ground for prey.

I love the tiniest absolute nanosecond we got of the little tendril that peaks out of the door on the floor at the end.
