Citing Venus as an example of why increasing carbon dioxide levels on earth shouldnt be taken seriously!

This is just stupidity on a monumental level.

I hate it when people say CFCs don't deplete the ozone layer. I live under the ozone hole and I don't need to get sunburned.

Respect for being one of the few youtube 'skeptics' to follow the science on this key issue and speak up. Denial will likely continue right up until the point of collapse - some are simply too invested in the idea that all state restriction on industry must be bad. There's no set of data you could throw at them that would convince, because they're ideologically opposed to the very possibility of it being true.

That stuff that guy said about venus... It's so far beyond satire that it's... just... I don't even know how to explain.

"The planet is still there."

That is an astoundingly stupid thing to say, but on the other hand, environmentalists opened the door to this kind of obfuscation by framing the problem in terms of "Saving the planet." The planet doesn't need to be saved. The planet will endure. The LIFE on the planet needs to be saved.

It's ridiculous how many times Steven miss quotes a survey and then when you look it up the survey says the opposite. Most of the time he doesn't even bother reading his sources it seems.

5:51 if you look at the Breadbasket of the US, you'll see that around the time of the Great Depression there was the Dust Bowl, in which a few decades of unsustainable farming turned the former breadbasket into a wasteland, and a decade or so of responsible agriculture and sensible policies to retain soil and water turned it back into arable land. That's the kind of impact humans can have on the environment, and in the Dust Bowl it all unfolded in a single lifetime.

Amazing how this particular science is neatly divided down party lines, and so hotly debated. There must be money involved.

Dear thunderf00t what do you think about the middle age warm period? Was that brought about from Vikings driving around in landrovers?

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how strongly opinionated climate change deniers tend to be about "the science" and how often they spout these opinions along side information that makes it extremely evident that they have no understanding at all of that science
