Your accent is rarely the problem. It's your articulation. And the way you can improve how you articulate your words is by slowing down when you speak and becoming more aware of how you move your lips when you say the words!

I’ve got a strong North-East (UK) accent and learned this the hard way early on when I got into public speaking. I would speak so fast that people couldn’t make my words out from each other because my accent blended them together

Indian culture with heavy accent and speed. Very difficult to understand. It’s like listening to a machine gun rattle at full blast.
